An unmissable spectacular for the whole family.
Many people have been asking recently: Will Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo take place this year?
Happily, after a one-year hiatus, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has now been officially confirmed to return in August 2021. A staple of the Edinburgh International Festival since 1950, the annual event brings Scotland’s military history to life in a spectacular fashion against the backdrop of the iconic Edinburgh Castle.
Organisers have confirmed that they hope to being people together once again (at a safe social distance!) and give us all something to look forward to, encapsulating the wartime spirit that the event was born from.
Although the theme for the 2021 event is yet to be announced, it’s sure to involve the music, dance and military displays that the event is known for. And of course a dash of fireworks!
