Educational study tour hits the streets of London!
Drivers Nathan and Michael hit the streets of London last week with an educational school group. The children enjoyed comfortable travel on board one of our Irizar i6 coaches.
Not only did they study fossils at the Natural History Museum, but they also learned about rugby at Twickenham Stadium and took The Making of Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Not to be left out, Nathan and Michael also enjoyed this part of the trip! 🔮🧙♀️🔮
Don’t forget, that you too could visit Diagon Alley with us during the October school holidays! For more info, visit http://www.rennies.co.uk/the-making-of-harry-potter-warner-brother-studio-tour-london/
Colleagues, Lizzy and Claire take on a free-fall abseil from Forth Rail Bridge for Brain Tumour Charity
We are very proud of our Rennies Administration colleagues, Lizzy Windmill and Claire Wright, who took on a free-fall abseil from the Forth Rail Bridge!
Last Sunday, they faced their fears and did it anyway in support of The Brain Tumour Research Charity.
Lizzy’s dad, a Coach Driver, had to give up his PCV licence following the discovery of a tumour and subsequent treatment. Together, Lizzy and Claire have, so far, raised over £1000 that will go towards this vital continued research.
Well done girls, very brave and for such a good cause! If you would like to donate, you still can at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lizzy-claire
21/09/2018 Today marks the end of an era as last remaining Rennies family member retires.
John Rennie Junior, the son of John Rennie Senior, who established Rennies Coaches back in 1947, retires from service as a driver today. John is the last remaining family link to the original company, and has worked with Stagecoach since its takeover in 2008.
Operations Manager, Gordon Menzies, took delight in recounting some memories of working with John over the years as he presented him with a gift from everyone at the depot.
Thank you John, and all the best for your retirement!

03/07/2018 Rennies Coaches partner with Kelty Hearts FC as the club’s official transport partner.
Rennies Coaches has joined forces with East of Scotland Football League champions, Kelty Hearts FC to become their official transport partner. The team’s official new mode of transport will be a 55 seat luxury executive Van hool Astromega coach. Maroon in colour to match team colours, the vehicle has already been affectionately dubbed #themaroonmachine by officials at the club.
These modern executive coaches are impressive in presence and style. They are incredibly comfortable to travel in, with wide leather seats, ample leg room and tables. The 55 seats on board convert into 41 beds for long distance travel, or for physio stations on the move.
In association with sister company, Stagecoach East Scotland, Rennies are also providing sponsorship in the form of advertising at New Central Park Stadium along with match day warm up kit sponsorship.
Gordon Menzies, Operations Manager, Rennies Coaches said: “We’re proud to be supporting a local, yet progressive football team that has come a long way in a short space of time and continues to perform. From a corporate portfolio point of view, this is exactly the type of partnership we look for at Rennies. Our luxury coaches are perfectly suited to this type of work and we look forward to seeing them on the road with the Kelty Hearts team on board.”
Dean McKenzie, General Manager, Kelty Hearts Football Club said: “I, and all at Kelty Hearts are delighted, and looking forward to working with Rennies as our new official transport partner. Exciting times for our football club!“
Saturday 30th June sees the first away match of the season with the team travelling to Aberfeldy on the Rennies coach.
