Join us on board our executive coach as we travel towards Callander, a bustling
town situated on the River Teith near Stirling, often fondly referred to as the Gateway to the Highlands. Set dramatically beneath high, wooded crags, the colourful town is crammed with teashops, souvenir and sweet shops. Relax and enjoy some free time to wander around here.
We then travel to the hidden gem that is the Venachar Lochside restaurant, situated on the north shores of Loch Venacher. The chefs create dishes using fresh
ingredients sourced from their local larder and have created a delicious high tea menu for us to sit down to and enjoy.
Choose from; Scrabster landed beer battered haddock, Perthshire ale braised beef or cheddar & young leek tarte followed by tea or coffee and a cake selection.
After our high tea, we travel to the beautiful Falls of Dochart. These stunning waterfalls run through the small town of Killin. Located at the western end of Loch Tay, the famous white waters of the Falls of Dochart can be viewed from the village’s bridge. Admire the misty spray rising in the air as the waters of the river crash into the rocks then flow around the Islands of Inchbuie, known as the traditional and ancient burial place of Clan Macnab.
