Discover spring in Amsterdam with a 2 night mini cruise! We sail on a Saturday, so you can really make a weekend of it!
Join our executive coach as we travel to Newcastle to meet the DFDS Seaways ferry.
On the ship, choose the Columbus Club, for live music and entertainment, play some bingo, try your luck at the casino, or enjoy a beer or wine at the Navigator’s bar. Then retire for a comfortable night’s sleep to your sea view cabin.
On sailing into the Dutch port, enjoy breakfast on board before we rejoin our coach and travel to the outskirts of the city. Here you will make a short tram journey into Amsterdam; here you will have up to 5 hours exploring the Dutch capital at your leisure.
Enjoy an introduction to the city by canal. Stop by Amsterdam’s floating flower market andtry a traditional Dutch drink or snack! Head to Wynad Fockink to sip a fruit liquer or genever or stop at De Prael for great beer brewed in the heart of the Red Light District. Visit a pancake restaurant, buy some friet (chips/fries) with mayonnaise in a paper cone or stop by a fish stall to sample raw herring.
You will then travel back to the coach by tram, head back to the ferry for the return overnight sailing back to Newcastle.
