Fife Coast by Vintage Coach – Sunday 30 June 2019

Step back in time as our conductor welcomes you on board our 1950’s coach.

Unwind and enjoy as our nostalgic journey takes us on a scenic trip along the Fife coast. We travel towards St Andrews, following the scenic route through pretty Falkland.

We continue around the Lomond Hills and through Auchtermuchty past Lindores Loch, through Cupar and arrive in St Andrews with free time to explore this picturesque historic town.

View the ancient buildings such as the ruins of the Cathedral and Castle, its cobbled streets, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, beaches and the famous Old Course. The oldest University in Scotland is located here and its architectural legacy can be seen
all over town.

Mary Queen of Scots was educated here and was probably one of the first women in the world to play golf, Our route home takes us via the charming fishing villages of the East Neuk.

We stop at Anstruther and admire its 16th century harbour, one of the most photographed in Scotland. Once at the heart of Scotland’s 19th century herring industry and is now famous for its fish and chips.
