Glencoe & Fort William Guided Tour – Friday 19th April

Same great trip, new lower price!

Join your dedicated tour guide on board our executive coach for one of our most popular highland tours!

Sit back, relax and enjoy light refreshments as you take in the scenery of Perthshire, the dramatic scenery of the Trossachs National Park and on to Glencoe, a place of history, wildlife, adventure and myth.

The Glencoe mountains were formed through violent volcanic eruptions, and then sculpted by massive glaciers. On 13 February 1692, the MacDonald clan were murdered by a regiment of soldiers whom they had welcomed into their homes.

The Glencoe Massacre still has the power to evoke powerful emotions to this day. In Fort William your time is your own to explore the shops or visit the many places of interest, such as the visitor centre at Ben Nevis Distillery, one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland, where you can learn about the legend of the Scottish Giant Hector McDram who discovered whisky. Enjoy lunch at one of the town’s many restaurants – seafood lovers may want to visit the Crannog Seafood Restaurant on the town pier for freshly caught fish and excellent views of Loch Linnhe.

On the return journey we travel back through the scenic Glens.
