Isle of Arran, Gold Tour, Friday, 23rd June 2017
The Isle of Arran sits in the Firth of Clyde off the coast of Ayrshire and is the seventh largest island in Scotland. Arran is often referred to as ‘Scotland in Miniature’ thanks to its rugged coastline and beautiful scenery. The dividing line of the Highland-Lowland goes right through the middle of Arran, dividing the wild, unspoilt, mountainous north, dominated by the peak of Goat Fell the forest and farmland of the south.
Our driver will take you to the port of Ardrossan where we set sail on the ferry to Brodick. You will be able to take in the view of Brodick Castle as we approach the island followed by an island tour on a local coach. You will then have the opportunity to view some of its picturesque villages and outstanding wildlife.
Lunch vouchers will be provided on the tour, please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking.
The ferry crossing has narrow access and may not be suitable for wheelchair access.
This tour will be operated by one of our luxury coaches with an on board toilet and free hot drinks and snacks served by your on board host.
