Visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne which retains a wealth of history and remains a place of pilgrimage today.
This tidal island is home to the ruins of Lindisfarne Priory, which was ransacked by 5th century viking invaders.
You can experience excellent views of Lindisfarne Castle, however the castle is not open to the public until April 2018 due to major reconstruction work.
In addition to the Priory museum, you can visit the Lindisfarne Mead visitor centre and find out how the monks created this famous drink.
We then travel on to Alnwick Gardens, which sits adjacent to Alnwick Castle and is home to one of the worlds largest wooden tree houses, the Labyrinth, the Poison Garden and the Serpent Garden.
This tour will be operated by one of our luxury coaches with climate control and free hot drinks and snacks served by your on board host.
