We travel to Edinburgh and Her Majesty the Queen’s official residence in Scotland, The Palace of Holyrood House.
Standing at the end of the historic Royal Mile, this fine palace is the home of Scottish Royal history.
Explore 14 magnificent historic and State Apartments still used by the Queen today, the romantic ruins of the 12thcentury Holyrood Abbey and remarkable Royal gardens, all with a complimentary audio tour. There is also a special exhibition on this day “A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex”.
View Meghan’s diamond and platinum bandeau tiara, her wedding dress, Harry’s Frock Coat Uniform and the wedding outfits of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
We then spend some free time on the Royal Mile where you can stop for some lunch at one of the various eateries.
We then travel onwards towards Rosslyn and its famous chapel. Nowhere in Scotland is more riddled with mystery than Rosslyn Chapel. There’s the apprentice who was
murdered by his master after carving the ornate Apprentice Pillar and there’s the connection to the Knights Templar and the Holy Grail. Founded in 1446, visitors from far and wide are drawn by its unique and mysterious carvings.
